Friendship Bracelets

September 6th, 2010 by Michelle

For the past few weeks, I have had a lot of fun making friendship bracelets. My sister Grace got a book at a book sale that teaches you how to make ten different kinds of bracelets. They are all pretty neat/amazing! Here are some pictures of the ones I’ve made and the names of each:

Basic Diagonal Stripe

Double Chain Knot

Swirl and Braids

Totem Pole

Rag Rug

Zig Zag

Diagonal Threes

Broken Ladder

Bordered Chevron With Beads

It’s nice to make them for friends! I made some for my parents. My Dad even wears the ones I made him.

I also enjoy making them with my sisters. We have a lot of fun making them together.

I think it’s so cool the way the strings are woven together to make beautiful patterns. When you put them all together, they make an awesome picture!
